How to Scan a QR Code Using the 3CX Mobile App
Scanning your QR code is the fastest way to set up your Kiwi VoIP extension on your mobile device. This automatically configures your account and connects your phone system.
Step 1: Install the 3CX App
Download and install the 3CX app from:

Apple App Store (iPhone)

Google Play Store (Android)
Step 2: Open the 3CX App
Launch the 3CX app on your mobile device.
When prompted, allow access to:

Camera
-
Microphone
-
Contacts
These permissions are required for calling functionality.
Step 3: Open the QR Code Scanner
In the app:

Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top left

Select Accounts
-
Tap Add Account

Tap Scan QR Code
Step 4: Scan Your QR Code

Open your 3CX welcome email on another device (computer or tablet)

Locate your QR code

Point your phone camera at the QR code
The app will automatically configure your extension.
Step 5: Complete Setup
Once scanned, your extension will register automatically and you’ll be ready to:

Make calls

Receive calls

Use your Kiwi VoIP extension from anywhere
Troubleshooting
If scanning does not work:

Ensure you have the latest version of the 3CX app installed

Confirm the QR code is fully visible and not cut off

Try closing and reopening the app

Restart your phone if necessary
