📶 Mobile Data or MMS Not Working? Here's How to Fix It

If you can call and text, but mobile data or MMS isn’t working — don’t worry! Follow these easy steps to get back online.


🔁 First Steps
Sometimes all it takes is a quick refresh:

  1. Toggle Flight Mode on and off

  2. Restart your phone — turn it off for 30 seconds, then back on

Still not working? Time to reset your APN.


📱 Reset APN Settings

On iPhone:

  • Go to Settings

  • Tap Mobile/Cellular > Mobile Data Network

  • Scroll to the bottom and tap Reset Settings, then confirm

On Android:

  • Open Settings

  • Tap Connections > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names

  • Tap the 3 dots (top-right) > Reset to default > Confirm Reset

⚙️ Manual APN Settings (if needed)

Mobile Data APN Settings:

  • Username: (leave blank)

  • Password: (leave blank)

  • APN: internet

MMS APN Settings:

  • Username: (leave blank)

  • Password: (leave blank)

  • APN: mms

  • MMSC: http://mms.2degreesmobile.net.nz:48090

  • MMS Proxy: 118.148.1.118:8080

  • MMS Max Message Size: (leave default)

  • MMS UA Prof URL: (leave blank)
