🐢 Help! My Mobile Data is Slow

Experiencing sluggish mobile internet? Follow this quick guide to troubleshoot and get back up to speed with Kiwi VoIP Mobile.


🔍 Step 1: Perform Preliminary Checks

Check Your Mobile Plan
Log into the Kiwi VoIP Portal, head to the Mobile section, and confirm:

  • Which plan you're on

  • How much high-speed data is included

  • How much you've used so far

📶 WiFi vs Mobile Data
Make sure you're not connected to WiFi—your device might be defaulting to a weak or slow WiFi network.

🌐 Check for Outages
Visit our Network Status Page for any live alerts or planned maintenance that may impact mobile performance.

📍 Check Your Coverage

  • Are you getting 4G or 5G signal?

  • How many signal bars do you have?

  • Does the slowness happen everywhere or just in one spot?


🔁 Step 2: Restart Your Device

If your plan and coverage are all good, restart your phone. This can refresh your network connection and clear minor issues.


🧪 Step 3: Run a Speed Test

Use Speed Tester NZ to measure your current mobile data speeds.
Save the results—they’ll be helpful if you contact support.


🆘 Step 4: Contact Kiwi VoIP Support

If your mobile data is still slow:

📨 Open a support case via the Kiwi VoIP Portal

💬 Include as much info as possible:

  • Your mobile number

  • When and where the issue occurs

  • Speed test results

  • Screenshot of your signal & coverage
