📵 My New SIM Card Isn’t Working — What Should I Do?

Just received your new SIM card from Kiwi VoIP and it's not connecting? Try these simple steps to get up and running.


🔁 Quick Troubleshooting
Try these basic checks first:

  1. Toggle Flight Mode on and off

  2. Restart your phone (power off for 30 seconds, then back on)

  3. Check your SIM is correctly inserted — the angled corner should match the SIM tray

  4. Remove and reinsert the SIM card


📴 Still Not Working? Try This:

📲 Put your old SIM back in

  • If the old SIM works, your new one hasn’t been activated yet.

  • Please email support@kiwivoip.co.nz to rebook the SIM swap.


🌐 Set Your Network to Automatic

On iPhone:

  • Go to Settings

  • Tap Mobile > Network Selection

  • Toggle Automatic to On

On Android:

  • Go to Settings

  • Tap Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators

  • Toggle Automatically Select Network to On
