☎️ One Number Service (Shared Line Appearance)

Kiwi VoIP One Number: Set up multiple devices to ring simultaneously with a single number.

The One Number feature allows you to register up to 6 devices to a single Kiwi VoIP number, so when someone calls you, all registered phones or devices ring simultaneously.

Whether you're using a VoIP handset in the office, a softphone on your laptop, or a dual-mode smartphone — you'll never miss a call again.

💡 Why Use One Number?

  • ✅ Ring your handset, mobile app, and softphone at the same time

  • ✅ Keep one Kiwi VoIP number instead of setting up call forwarding between multiple numbers

  • ✅ Perfect for remote teams, mobile workers, and small offices

  • ✅ Combine with Locate Me to fall back to a mobile or landline when offline

🛠️ How to Enable the One Number Service

  1. Log into your Kiwi VoIP portal:

  2. Select the Kiwi VoIP number you want to configure

  3. Go to Cloud PBX > Inbound Calls > Shared Line

  4. ✅ Tick Enable Shared Line Appearance

  5. Click Save Settings

📲 Setting Up Multiple Devices

Each device you register must have a unique SIP login, based on the main number with a suffix added:

  • Your primary device uses the Kiwi VoIP number as-is

  • Each additional device appends -1, -2, -3, ..., up to -5

  • All devices use the same password

❗ You can register up to 6 devices total (including the primary)

🔧 Example Setup

Primary Handset 028890123
Softphone (e.g. 3CX) 028890123-1
ATA Adapter 028890123-2
Smartphone (e.g. 3CX) 028890123-3
Office Desk Phone 028890123-4
Reception Console 028890123-5

💬 Best Practices

  • Assign a primary device for voicemail and message waiting indicators

  • Avoid using the same suffix on more than one device

  • Combine with Call Parking, SimRing, or Call Queuing for team setups
