👥 Queue Login Presence via BLF

Queue Login Presence allows agents to log in or out of call queues with a single press of a button on their IP phone — using a BLF key (Busy Lamp Field). The BLF key also shows their current queue status using coloured LED indicators.

This is ideal for call centre agents or reception teams managing availability during shifts or breaks.

🔁 How It Works

Once configured:

  • Green Light (Not in Use): The agent is logged in to one or more queues

  • Red Light (In Use): The agent is not logged in to any queues

  • 📲 Press the BLF key to toggle:

    • If logged in → logs out of all queues

    • If logged out → logs in to all assigned queues

🔔 This toggle only affects queues the agent is already assigned to in Cloud PBX.

🛠️ Step-by-Step: Enabling Queue Login Presence

1. In the Kiwi VoIP Portal:

  1. Go to https://portal.kiwivoip.co.nz

  2. Navigate to Advanced > Presence & BLF

  3. Tick Enable presence/BLF for queue login status on this line only

  4. Click Save Changes

2. On the Agent’s IP Phone (Example: Yealink)

In the Yealink web interface:

  1. Go to the DSSKey tab > Line Key section

  2. Configure a Line Key with the following:

Field Value
Type BLF
Value *20 + agent number (e.g. *20043214321)
Line The line associated with the agent
Extension (Leave blank)

📌 Only the agent’s own device can monitor and toggle their queue login status.
