🔎 Can I Choose My Own Toll-Free Number?

Yes! You can request a specific 0800 or 0508 number to be provisioned on your Kiwi VoIP account — subject to availability.

🧠 Tip: Before requesting, dial the number to check if it’s currently in use.

💰 Cost of a Custom Toll-Free Number

Standard NZ toll-free provisioning fees apply:

  • $28.75 per number (incl. GST)
    (That’s $25 + GST per number)

📋 How to Request a Custom Toll-Free Number

  1. Log in to your Kiwi VoIP account at https://portal.kiwivoip.co.nz

  2. Click Manage Numbers from the left-hand menu

  3. Select Manage Number Porting

  4. Click Request a New NZ Toll Free Number

  5. Fill out the request form:

    • Your email address (we’ll send updates here)

    • The number you want to request (e.g. 0800 KIWI VOIP)

    • Select the number type (0800 or 0508)

    • Choose your preferred number plan

  6. Read and accept the terms & conditions

  7. Click Submit

We’ll check availability and get back to you via email — whether the number is secured or not.

  • Not all requested numbers will be available

  • Custom numbers are provisioned on a first-come, first-served basis

  • If your preferred number is unavailable, we can suggest similar alternatives
