Grandstream ATA – Manual Configuration

🔍 Step 1: Find Your Grandstream’s IP Address

  1. Plug an analog phone into Port 1 (the green port marked “1”).

  2. Pick up the handset and press * three times: ***

  3. Wait for the voice prompt: “Enter the menu option.”

  4. Press 02 – the device will read out its IP address.

  5. Type this IP address into your browser to access the Grandstream web interface.

  • Disable Call-Waiting Tone: Yes

  • Jitter Buffer Type: Fixed

  • Jitter Buffer Length: High

  • Disable Line Echo Canceller (LEC): Yes

  • Disable Network Echo Suppressor: Yes

  • Fax Mode: T.38

  • Re-INVITE After Fax Tone Detected: Enabled

  • Preferred Codec: PCMA


🔁 Save & Apply Settings

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update

  2. Then click Apply

  3. Finally, reboot the device to ensure all settings take effect
