⏰ Wake-Up Calls in Kiwi VoIP Cloud PBX

Need a gentle nudge to start your day or remind staff at a specific time? The Wake-Up Call feature in Kiwi VoIP Cloud PBX lets you schedule an automated call that plays a pre-recorded wake-up message.


📞 What It Does
Automatically places a call at a set time and plays a wake-up or reminder message when answered.

You can activate the feature in two ways:

  • Via the Kiwi VoIP Web Portal (with flexible recurring options)

  • Or using *star code 62 from any Kiwi VoIP-connected device (one-time use)


🖥️ How to Set a Wake-Up Call via the Portal

  1. Log into your Kiwi VoIP account 👉 https://portal.kiwivoip.co.nz

  2. Click Cloud PBX in the top menu

  3. Select the line number you want to use

  4. In the left-hand menu, go to Advanced > Wake Up Call

📅 Choose one of the following:

  • Only Once – Call occurs once at the next scheduled time

  • 🔁 Every Day – Repeats daily at the same time

  • 📆 Selected Days – Pick specific weekdays for the call

💾 Don’t forget to click Save Settings to activate the call.

Want a quick one-off wake-up reminder?

  1. Dial *62 from your Kiwi VoIP handset

  2. Choose to schedule or cancel

  3. If scheduling, enter your time in 24-hour format (e.g., 0500 for 5:00 AM)

  4. The system will confirm the scheduled time

📝 Note: This method supports only single-use wake-up calls. For recurring calls, use the portal.
